NPEF Funding Focus

Science in Schools
The foundation continues it's focus on Science Education by providing funding for additional Interactive Science Kits, Secondary Science Lab Safety Equipment, Secondary Science Text Books and training teachers to best use the Science Kits.

 

Literacy Initiative

The literacy Initiative is designed to compliment the Science and History Curriculum by providing non-fiction leveled readers for all Northshore Elementary Schools.

 

2004-2006 investment

In the past two years, NPEF has provided $190,000 for Interactive Science Kits in EVERY elementary school, specialized Science and History Books for EVERY elementary school, Safety Equipment for secondary science classrooms and Science Text Books for secondary schools.  In addition, $25,000 in Teacher Grants has been awarded to teachers for programs in science, literacy and history.
