dedicated to supporting Northshore students and teachers. We fund
programs that promote

In
the previous few years, NPEF has provided $190,000
for Interactive Science Kits in EVERY elementary
school, specialized Science and History Books for
EVERY elementary school, Safety Equipment for
secondary science classrooms and Science Text Books
for secondary schools. In addition, $25,000 in
Teacher Grants has been awarded to teachers for programs
in science, literacy and history.
We hold our
board meetings typically on the second Thursday morning
of each month. They are open to the public.

When we make
grant awards for our kids, we seek to enhance their
education. We do not aim to take over the funding
necessary to give our children a basic education; that
is the state's paramount responsibility. Yet, our
